PVDC copolymers are used as single and multilayer films, sheets, trays, bottles and tubes for packaging food, medicine, agricultural chemicals and cosmetics. PVDC has excellent gas and moisture barrier properties, transparency and oil resistance. A number of different methods, blown, cast, (single and multilayer films and sheets) and extrusion coating to name three, can be used to produce various end structures based on PVDC.
