AIRTECH HAS DEVELOPED A MASTER THAT CAN BE LAID UP AT ROOM TEMPERATURE ON ANY MOLD. THIS MASTER CURES AT ROOM TEMPERATURE AND THEN CAN BE MACHINED TO FINAL CONTOUR. THE MACHINED SURFACE IS SMOOTH AND THE MASTER IS VACUUM TIGHT. THE SERVICE TEMPERATURE IS 300 DEGREES F. THIS MASTER CAN BE USED AS AN INTERMEDIATE TOOL OR A HIGH- TEMPERATURE MASTER FOR PREPREG COMPOSITE TOOLS. THE COST OF THIS MASTER IS 30-50% LOWER THAN OTHER TYPES OF MASTERS AND IT ELIMINATES INTERMEDIATE STEPS IN NORMAL MASTER PRODUCTION.
