The Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) laboratory in the Engineering Management Department at the University of Missouri-Rolla provides a facility to encourage teaching and research aimed at realization of a truly integrated manufacturing system. This paper highlights two manufacturing systems integration courses offered in the department, namely, computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems and Advanced Manufacturing Systems.
