The Product REALIZATION Consortium is developing the methodologies and guidelines for Product Realization Projects. In addition, the consortium is working on the integration of these projects into the undergraduate engineering curriculum. In this paper the theoretical support for this project experience is presented in terms of sociocultural approaches to education as well as the methodology and feature of the project.
