A major issue for engineering education is the integration of different disciplines and perspectives. Based on our industrial experience we shall outline a model of an integration process. Two elements will support that this process is included in an experimental system lab under development. First, the development of a mutually shared vision or concept, and second the development and use of a Model Bank for each discipline to secure sufficient professional substance.
