ISO 9000 standards should be introduced in undergraduate engineering curriculum. This paper discusses how capstone engineering courses might be used to introduce ISO 9000 philosophy, standards and certification. Because capstone courses are primarily design related courses and usually students work in groups, ISO 9000 topics can be incorporated easily into the project.
