Usually, professors give classes by using the traditional method of teaching, learning and evaluating, which consists of oral classes and exams. In this procedure, the students are in a very passive position, and with not much responsibility in the educational process. Nowadays, new information blossoms very quickly, and so the authors think that the traditional method is inadequate to technological courses such as Introduction to Machining Processes. With these problems in mind, the authors decided to apply modern quality techniques to teaching, learning and evaluating.
