Multimedia (MM) is an exciting new tool in technical education. Using it we can teach difficult technical concepts much more effectively. We combine MM with the flexibility and communication capabilities of the compute to create a powerful system. We have identified both strengths and weaknesses of Computer-controlled Multimedia (CMM) systems. Multimedia, properly implemented, is proving to be an effective aid in technical education, holding the students attention, encouraging involvement, and demonstrating technical concepts with impressive results.
