A Master of Science program has been developed for practicing manufacturing engineers. There is a need for such programs because few manufacturing professionals receive formal education in discipline. This program was created to allow engineers to earn a masters degree in manufacturing engineering by leaving work for five weeks each summer for five consecutive years. All expenses are paid by the sponsoring company. Graduates are usually promoted soon after graduation and stay with the company. What students learn applied in their professional practice.
