This paper presents the educational activities at the Institute of Production Engineering at Tampere University of Technology, Finland. The Production Engineering Institute specializes in manufacturing methods, measurement and quality, production automation, and production systems and FMA. This paper describes how the studies are structured at TUT and gives an overview of course contents and teaching methods used. Also, some details on the teaching environment are presented.
