The mission undertaken by the Greenfield Coalition is the development of competency-based, experiential-based, learner-centered manufacturing engineering/technology curricula for three interconnected degree programs. This paper provides a review of the curricula and the competencies upon which the curricula are based. In addition, specific unique points within the curricula are discussed and the concepts of integrating experiential learning with the academic studies are explored. Finally, an update on the implementation of the Greenfield curricula is offered.
