A Proactive Maintenance And Monitoring Program Is Essential To Assure Smooth, Clean, Continuous Performance Of Finishing Line Conveyors In Automotive Operations
The development and implementation of a proactive conveyor maintenance program along with some methods to monitor the effectiveness of the program will be discussed in this paper. The selection of lubricants, automatic lubrication equipment, cleaning equipment, and the methods to monitor the operation of a variety of conveyors that are used in the product finishing process in the automotive industry will be presented.
