This paper presents ways to improve paint quality by real-time process/motion control for machines as well as robots by utilizing agile control technology. Achieving controls hardware and software commonality for all paint shop automation, establishing full TCP motion, including spline interpolation for all multi-axis machines, and dynamic real-time time process control concepts are other topics that are covered.
