The combination of infrared energy with hot air can enhance drying and curing processes. IR heaters can be added to existing hot air systems as preheaters to improve production rates. IR heaters incorporated in a hot air oven provide a synergistic drying effect, moving water to the vaporization phase faster than conventional hot air ovens. Enhanced zoning capabilities can be accomplished by integrating infrared in hot air systems.
