The author will present an overall program to improve the quality and the standard of production throughout the paint shop. Preventative maintenance programming has been applied to production but it has a limited life in the process paint shop. The technology permits gathering of information and further directs that information towards a useful end product. As a discipline is set for booth cleaning control, it establishes a controlled cleaning procedure schedule. This results in a daily quality audit process to improve the overall capabilities.
