Process Management is a new technology designed to improve quality and productivity in plastics processing. This procedure was made possible through the recent development of essential equipment, expert software, and the establishment of industry yardsticks that define process capability. Process Management has now been applied in over 100 plastics processing plants with surprisingly good results. The equipment and the technique described in this paper has been combined into a fully defined program, making its daily practice reliable and practical.
