The objective of this paper is to better inform operators in the coil processing industry regarding the proper use of felt products. A very high percentage of these operators have many uses for felts as tension pads, coil protection or any place where scratching, denting or marking is a problem. These types of problems cost industry many unnecessary dollars and the introduction to a solution is much needed and requested.
