GRINDABILITY OF CERAMIC MATERIALS SUCH AS SILICON NITRIDE, ALUMINUM OXIDE, ZIRCONIA AND FERRITE IS STUDIED. MATHEMATICAL MODELS ON GRINDABILITY EVALUATION ARE POSTULATED. EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES OF TWO TYPES OF RESINOID BOND DIAMOND WHEELS ON THE CERAMICS ARE CARRIED OUT AND THE RESULTS PRESENTED. THE PERFORMANCE OF THE TWO TYPES OF WHEELS ARE COMPARED, AND THE GRINDABILITY OF THE MATERIALS IS EVALUATED BASED ON OUR FORMULA.
