Industry is constantly facing new challenges to reduce manufacturing cost by improving productivity and at the same time striving to improve the quality of its products. When manufacturing processes require grinding, more manufacturers are looking to superabrasive grinding and finishing products to help them meet their goals. This requires a very close relationship between the manufacturer and the superabrasive product manufacturer. This paper will discuss the many new developments in superabrasive products and how they will help meet the challenges of greater stock removal, tighter tolerances and improved part quality.
