A SET OF ALGORITHMS FOR A LASER-BASED METROLOGY SYSTEM IS PRESENTED. THE METROLOGY SYSTEM IS PART OF A FLEXIBLE ROBOTICS WORK CELL USED TO ASSEMBLE AIRFRAME COMPONENTS. INCLUDED ARE ALGORITHMS FOR LASER-STEERING, CAMERA CALIBRATING, COMPUTING 2D AND 3D PART FEATURE COORDINATES, AND COMPUTING ROBOT POSE CORRECTIONS BASED ON METROLOGY DATA.
