NEW METHODS OF BUILDING INTEGRATED ASSEMBLY SYSTEMS ARE DESCRIBED, WHICH OFFER MUCH ENHANCED CAPABILITIES FOR ENABLING AND MANAGING CHANGE. IN BOTH CASES, MUCH IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY HAS BEEN ENABLED WHILE REALIZING SIGNIFICANT SAVINGS IN TERMS OF REDUCED ENGINEERING EFFORT AND TIME.
