THE APPROACH FOR PLANNING OF OVERALL OPTIMAL ROBOTIZED MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS PRESENTED IN THIS PAPER IS BASED ON ITERATIVE OPTIMIZATION OF INDIVIDUAL MOTION SECTIONS. TIME CRITICAL MOTION SECTIONS ARE OPTIMIZED IN TERMS OF THE MINIMUM CYCLE TIME, WHILE FOR THE MOTION SECTIONS WITH GIVEN CYCLE TIMES, THE MINIMUM MECHANICAL STRESS IS EMPHASIZED. AS EFFICIENT PROCEDURE FOR ROBOT MOTION OPTIMIZATION BASED ON THE PARAMETRIZATION OF THE STATE FUNCTIONS IS DEVELOPED.
