Purpose
This Amendment to SMPTE ST 352 changes the document title to more accurately reflect the current usage of the payload identifier; removes the normative reference to SMPTE 292; removes the definition of horizontal and vertical location of the payload ID; removes the precise payload definitions for 750 line and 1080 line interfaces in annex B and corrects language in five places that makes reference to SMPTE 292.
