This standard describes a method to determine whether particular materials or goods may be designated as non-combustible at 750° C. The method is intended to be used for fire classification of building materials. The standard applies to solid and granulated materials and goods of uniform composition, but not to laminated or otherwise layered, solid materials, nor for liquid materials. The standard does not include selection of samples from production, storage, batch deliveries or structures.
