Denne norske standarden spesifiserer materiale, dimensjoner og toleranser for gjengede rørdeler til bruk
sammen med ikke-flytende tetningsmidler som hamp, gjengetape eller lignende. Ved bruk av andre
sammenføyningsmetoder kan andre standarder som NS-EN 1254-1 til NS-EN 1254-5 anvendes.
MERKNAD Deler som tilfredsstiller standarden, kan også brukes sammen med andre tetningsmidler enn
hamp og gjengetape.
