This standard applies to growing media with or without the addition of lime and/for fertilizers. It states the information to be included in product declarations for growing media and provides rules for packaging and marking. This standard does not apply to soil sold directly from natural deposits for use in parks, garden, etc. Peat as a growing medium is covered by NS 2891.
