This standard applies to colour coding of flat straps and slings (including tubular slings) for indication of the working load limit (WLL) in accordance with NS 4035. It applies to flat straps and slings of all types of materials for use when handling goods i.e. By lifting, loading and unloading. The colour coding is only a facility. The strap or sling shall be identified by its marking as stated in NS 4035 clause 6.
