The standard describes methods for testing and evaluation of burglary resistance of automated teller machines when exposed to mechanical and electromechanical attacks. The logical control system shall not be tested. The testing shall be carried out in a manner that realistically duplicates byrglary methods. This means that methods or tool combinations which are likely to be used in real burglaries, shall be used against automated teller machines.
The standard also gives minimum requirements for automated teller machines.
