SPC GB/T 11746-2008 specifies the product categorization, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labelling and packaging, transportation, and storage of tufted carpets.
This standard is applicable to the tufted carpets with piles of synthetic fiber, wool and wool blended fiber. The tufted carpets are made by needling thread into substrate to form the pile line on tufting machine, and fixing pile with adhesive or backing fabrics on the back of the carpet. For the tufted carpet with piles of other fibre materials, this Standard could be referred to.
