This standard is applicable to concrete and reinforced concrete sewer pipes which are manufactured by methods of centrifugal moulding, overhang rolling, core vibration casting, vertical extrusion and other casting methods.
This standard is applicable to pipes for rain water, sewage, water diversion, farm drainage and irrigation, and other gravity flow pipes. The production of concrete and reinforced concrete sewer pipes for other uses (such as, to meet the requirements of special anti-corrosion) shall be agreed by suppliers and purchasers, and may be implemented in accordance with this standard.
Pipes manufactured according to this standard are applicable to trench construction, jacking construction, and other construction methods.
