SPC GB/T 14405-2011 specifies the type classification and basic parameters, technical requirement, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of general-purpose bridge cranes with a rated capacity of 3.2 t-320 t.
This standard is applicable to the general-purpose bridge cranes (hereinafter referred to as "cranes") in service in the common working conditions, with hooks, grabs or magnets (magnetic pads) as their load-lifting attachments, or two or three of the aforesaid means used simultaneously.
For general-purpose bridge cranes wiht a rated capacity over 320 t or the identical parts of other bridge cranes, this standard may also be referenced.
