This standard specifies the testing items, methods, conditions and acceptance criteria for qualifying electric penetration assemblies in containment structures for nuclear power plants.
This standard is applicable to the qualification of electric penetration assemblies (EPAs), installed through the containment structures, enabling signal and electrical power transmission for pressurized water reactor designed and constructed with reference to the French Design and Construction Rules for nuclear power plants.
The standard may also be used as EPA qualification reference for other types of NPPs.
