This standard specifies the test items, test conditions, test methods and acceptance criteria for the qualification of safety class resistance temperature detectors for nuclear power plants.
This standard is applicable to the qualification of safety class resistance temperature detectors in pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear power plants.
The standard can also be used as a reference for qualification of safety class resistance temperature detectors in other types of reactors.
