This Standard specifies the apparatus to be used in preparing pulp handsheets. Some of the apparatus described here is also used in other pulp testing standards. This revision of the Standard includes a description of an alternative sheet machine in which the white water is recirculated, thereby avoiding the loss of fine material. Some relatively minor improvements have been made and the Standard now includes descriptions of standard blotters and measuring pots.
