Applies to interfaces between low-voltage switchgear and controlgear switching elements and controllers, including industrial CDIs for control systems, factory and process automation, specifies requirements for a bit-oriented interface-system between a single-control circuit device and switching elements connected by a non-shielded, entwisted two-wire cable carrying data and power, and establishes a system for the interchangeability of components with such interfaces. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from IEC 62026-2:2000.
