When selecting a flexo folder gluer (FFG), a consideration of equal importance is the selection of the material handling equipment for supplying board to the FFG and removing the finished product away from the FFG. To get the best performance from the entire line, a "systems" approach which examines each part of the line needs to be applied to adequately understand if any operating limitations may be present. Since the tasks to convert stacks of blanks into stacks of finished value-added products are all sequential events, the FFG line will only perform as fast and as well as its slowest link allows.
