Todays high speed, high quality flexographic printing presses require more accurately mounted plates than ever before. Proper plate mounting helps to achieve optimum print performance and maximum plate life. In todays competitive market, the proper mounting of plates can be critical in reducing downtime and improving print consistency. Many complaints about printing quality or short plate life are actually caused by poor mounting. Correct plate mounting procedures are every bit as important as the thickness accuracy of both the plate and mounting materials, as these components meld into one entity in the mounted plate.
