CORRECTION -- June 9, 2009
An editorial correction has been incorporated into this version of TIP
0502-14. The nature of this correction is to clarify the information in the
last paragraph of the "Wet-end drainage" section.
Instrumentation to measure, monitor, and troubleshoot the wet end of the paper machine is widely used to increase the knowledge of the papermaker. The objective of this technical publication is to provide the industry with a short description of the key parameter to be measured, its importance to the papermaker, and a listing of known commercial instruments used for these measurements.
