This addendum enhances trunking control channel messages as follows:
(1) Specification of a "Vehicle Sensed Emergency" (VSE) bit in the "Special Information" field of the EMRG_ALRM_REQ message to convey additional information regarding a specific emergency alarm scenario request.
This document will only include information relevant to the above-listed functionality. The reader is referred to ANSI/TIA-102.AABC-D and ANSI/TIA-102.AABC-D-1 for all other pertinent information. The next complete revision of ANSI/TIA-102.AABC will incorporate the changes contained in this addendum.
Note that section numbers identified in this addendum directly translate to section numbers in the ANSI/TIA-102.AABC-D and ANSI/TIA-102.AABC-D-1 Trunking Control Channel Messages and Trunking Control Channel Messages Addendum documents.
