This document specifies the following set of IP convergence protocols for IP Data Bearer Service that enables the conveyance of IPv4 datagrams:
• Simple CAI Encapsulation Protocol (SCEP)
• Subnetwork Dependent Convergence Protocol (SNDCP) versions 1 through 3
The information necessary to enable interoperable IP convergence protocols and functionality for the IP Data Bearer Service is provided in this document or referenced in other documents as appropriate. This document assumes the reader has a good working knowledge of the Data Overview and Specification [8].
