This addendum adds requirements for the infrastructure of data centers referred to as edge data centers (EDCs), utilizing structures, enclosures, or spaces to contain facilities for networking, computing, storage, and access.

This addendum adds two annexes between Annexes H and I (Bibliography) in ANSI/TIA-942-B. The new Annex I is normative and includes requirements and recommendations for micro edge data centers. The new Annex J is informative and includes a type system for micro edge data centers. The Bibliography, previously Annex I, is renamed Annex K.
