This document provides the requirements for Dynamic RAN Power Management (DRPM). DRPM allows operators to control the power usage of RAN equipment dynamically. Such control includes powering off RAN equipment in times of low traffic, powering on RAN equipment in times of high traffic, consideration for emergency services, response to equipment failure, and scheduling of power management activities.
