The scope of this specification is limited to accounting at the HA/LMA for cdma2000 1x and HRPD networks for PMIPv4/v6 mode of operation. Refer to X.S0011 [1] for accounting at the PDSN and accounting at the HA for MIPv6 mode of operation.
The core architecture for cdma2000 networks is as defined in X.S0011 [1] specifications. Specifically, this document covers:
− Accounting on a per IP Session basis at the HA for PMIPv4 modes of operation
− Accounting on a per IP Session basis at the LMA for PMIPv6 mode of operation
− Accounting on a per IP Session basis at HA for MIPv4 mode of operation is not specified in this release of specifications.
− Prepaid accounting is also not specified in this release of this specification.
