This document provides the system requirements for 3GPP2 Self- Organizing Networks (SON) that will guide the work of the enhancements required to the cdma2000®1 technology in support of this feature. The intent is to provide guidance as to what areas require SON-related improvements, and also to understand what areas standardized outside of 3GPP2 can assist in the development of the overall solution for SON. The scope of this document is confined to the support of SON among cdma2000 RAN and E-UTRAN nodes.
