This National Standard of Canada is applicable to insulating poles (insulating sticks) and tool attachments (fittings).
This Standard specifies the characteristics for insulating poles with permanently attached fittings and the tests (electrical and mechanical) which shall be satisfied by these tools; the required characteristics for parts which may be attached to and detached from the ends of poles, and the tests which shall be satisfied by these tools; and the special clauses applicable to insulating pools and universal tool attachments.
