This method is for rapidly determining trace concentrations (10 to 400 ppb) of lead in gasolines and petroleum naphthas. The method is not applicable to higher boiling range materials. The method is specifically applicable to alkyl lead compounds, for example, TEL and TML. Application to other lead compounds has not been investigated.
