This standard gives guidance on the evaluation of the property “rolling resistance”. It addresses tyre manufacturers, vehicle designers and operators alike.

This standard applies to the following designs of tyres for industrial trucks:

• pneumatic tyres (radial and diagonal types)

• solid-rubber tyres (super-elastic (SE) tyres, elastic bandages, and cured-on tyres) up to a nominal-load capacity of 10 000 kg

Measurements should serve to compare tyres of the same size.
