English Description: These 3-A Accepted Practices shall pertain to the sanitary aspects of equipment in instantizing systems for dry milk and dry milk products and include all equipment necessary for instantizing dry milk and dry milk products beginning with the equipment which receives the product to be instantized and terminating at the point the product is discharged to either the packaging system or storage. The instantizing systems include equipment used for moving and cleaning the air, heating and/or cooling air, conveying the product, moistening the product, additional drying of the product, removing the instantized product from the air and cooling the product.

Spanish Description: Todas estas Practicas Aceptadas 3-A corresponderan a los aspectos sanitarios del equipo en los sistemas procesadores de leche instantanea deshidratada y productos lacteos deshidratados e incluye todo el equipo necesario para el procesamiento de leche deshidratada y productos lacteos deshidratadose instantaneos, a partir del equipo que recibe el producto para hacerlo instantaneo y termina en el punto en donde el producto es descargado ya sea al sistema de envasado o almacenamiento. Los sistemas procesadores de productos instantaneos incluye el equipo utilizado para la movilizacion y limpieza del aire, calentamiento y/o enfriamiento del aire, conduccion del producto, humidificacion del producto, deshidratacion adicional del producto, eliminacion del producto instantaneo en el aire y su enfriamiento.
