AATCC 26-2020 describes a procedure for determining whether sulfur-dyed textile materials will or will not deteriorate under normal storage conditions and to establish the degree of such deterioration.

Specimens are steam-aged in a moist atmosphere under controlled conditions and then tested for loss in strength to determine if storage deterioration is likely.
