API Spec 14A (R2012) PDF

Provides the minimum acceptable requirements for subsurface safety valves (SSSVs). It covers subsurface safety valves including all components that establish tolerances and/or clearances which may affect performance or interchangeability of SSVs. It includes the interface connections to the flow control or other equipment, but does not cover the connections to the well conduit.

This edition of API Spec 14A is the identical national adoption of ISO 10432, Petroleum and natural gas industries-Downhole equipment-Subsurface safety valve equipment. This specification contains the API Monogram Annex as part of the U.S. national adoption.
